CCSCT to Warm Up Guadalupe County

Community Council of South Central Texas to Host Heater Distribution.

 

Guadalupe County, TX: As temperatures drop, local families are in need of ways to keep warm efficiently. Thanks to the help of our community, CCSCT will be providing heaters to 100 local families. “Warm Up Guadalupe County” Heater Distribution will take place December 7th, 8th and 9th  from 8:30am to 4pm at the CCSCT Seguin office located at 1201 W. Court St. To qualify, families must provide ID, and one of the following: SNAP Card, Medicaid Card, or Medicare Card.  CCSCT and event Coordinators Ernest Leal and Becky McHaney are available to answer any questions at 830-379-3022.

“We are very happy to provide this service to our community,” stated Coordinator Ernest Leal, “…there are a lot of families that can really use the help and we are proud to still be here for them, especially during these challenging times.”

At this time, the distribution will be first come, first served until supplies run out. Social distancing will be strongly enforced, organizers ask that all patrons wear masks, stay six feet apart, and send only one family member to the distribution event.

In addition, CCSCT has available grant assistance for COVID-19 Relief.
