Breaking Barriers, Creating Opportunities: CCSCT Releases 2022 Annual Report

South Central, TX – Community Council of South Central Texas is proud to present its highly anticipated annual report, highlighting a remarkable year of achievements. This comprehensive report showcases the agency’s unwavering commitment to empower individuals and build thriving communities.

Over the past year, our efforts have yielded outstanding results. We empowered 55 individuals towards self-sufficiency, improved 102 homes through weatherization, provided 20,545 utility assistance payments, aided 51 households with rental support, prevented homelessness for 195 Veterans, facilitated stable housing for 195 individuals at risk, enrolled 184 children in Head Start, and rendered 28,889 WIC services. These achievements highlight our profound impact on countless lives, offering hope and enabling upward mobility for those overcoming economic challenges.

“The data, information, and photos within the 2022 Annual Report truly depicts all of the services delivered to clients throughout the CCSCT service area,” stated Executive Director, Bobby Deike, “I would like to express the deepest gratitude to our Staff, Management Team, Board of Directors, and Supporters for the fantastic work that was done in 2022.”

In addition, the report highlights successful collaborations with local businesses, government agencies, and community partners, emphasizing the collective effort to combat poverty. It illustrates the agency’s measurable outcomes and testimonials from individuals who have benefited from their transformative services.

Community Council of South Central Texas is a member of the National Community Action Partnership and the Community Action Network, which was born out of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.
