CCSCT Staff Elected to Leadership Roles in Statewide Community Action Association

SOUTH CENTRAL, TEXAS: Community Council of South Central Texas (CCSCT) is proud to announce that four of our team members have been elected to key leadership positions within the Texas Association of Community Action Agencies (TACAA), a statewide organization that provides advocacy, training, and support to community action agencies across Texas.

We are pleased to share the following appointments:

  • Bobby Deike, Executive DirectorTACAA Board President
  • Kari Bell, Human Resources DirectorConvener, Operational Management & Fiscal Affairs
  • Brittany Hensley, Chief Financial OfficerSecretary, Operational Management & Fiscal Affairs
  • Carol Delgado, Community Services and Housing Division DirectorCo-Convener, Direct & Support Services

Each of these individuals holds the Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) credential—an achievement that underscores their expertise and dedication to the values that drive Community Action. Their election to TACAA leadership is both a professional milestone and a clear reflection of their commitment to serving others beyond their day-to-day responsibilities at CCSCT.

CCSCT Executive Director Bobby Deike shared, “I am truly honored to serve as President of the Texas Association of Community Action Agencies. Having served on the TACAA Board for over 20 years—including roles as First Vice President and Texas Representative to the Region VI Association—I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of collaboration and shared purpose across our state. I’m especially proud to serve alongside such a dedicated team from CCSCT. Their election to these leadership roles reflects not only their professionalism but also their deep commitment to advancing the mission of Community Action in Texas.”

Through their service on the TACAA leadership team, CCSCT representatives will play a vital role in shaping the future of Community Action statewide fostering continued collaboration, innovation, and excellence across all member agencies.
