CCSCT Staff Member Recognized for Community Service Efforts

CCSCT Community Services Assistant Ileen Rangel and her husband, Chris Rangel, City Councilman for District 4 in Seguin, were recently the recipients of LULAC’s Community Leader Award. The Seguin LULAC Foundation held its 9th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 16th where they were recognized for their efforts. This award recognizes those in the community who go above and beyond and who assume a leadership role within the  community. Although Ileen and Chris have been involved in numerous community efforts, they are best known for their involvement in the West End Neighborhood Project, an effort organized by Chris and Ileen to clean up the west side of town.

Congratulations Ileen and Chris!
