Empowering Communities: Bridge Builders Event Connects Residents and Officials

South Central, TX – Community Council of South Central Texas is delighted to announce the upcoming Bridge Builders: Community Listening Event 2024. This event will take place in Uvalde, TX, and will be open to community groups and local leadership from Uvalde, Val Verde, Kinney, Dimmit, Zavala, Edwards, and Real Counties. Bridge Builders is a free event where individuals can actively share their concerns, ideas, and aspirations with local officials and representatives from CCSCT. The event provides a unique platform for residents to express their opinions, concerns, and hopes for the future of the community.

Community groups are invited to share insights during a 10am-12pm session which includes a light lunch; later at 3pm area officials will gather and receive information collected during the community session. The collaborative event will take place at the Ssgt. Willie De Leon Civic Center, located at 330 E. Main St. in Uvalde, Texas on Monday, April 22, 2024.
