HEAD START SERVICES TO CONTINUE IN GUADALUPE/COMAL COUNTIES

The Office of Head Start, through the Designation Renewal System (DRS), has named Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc. to provide services within Guadalupe and Comal Counties, Texas. Therefore, on 7/1/2020, the administration of the program will be the responsibility of Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc., located at 801 TX-123, Seguin, TX 78155, phone number (830) 303-4376.

 

We at Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc. are excited about this opportunity to serve the children and families in Texas. The program will continue to serve Head Start children throughout Guadalupe and Comal counties.

 

CCSCT is a non-profit Community Action Agency that empowers vulnerable families and individuals in the greater South Central Texas area to achieve self-sufficiency by eliminating barriers through innovative programs and strong community partnerships. Counties serviced include; Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, LaSalle, Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson, and Zavala.

 

We are committed to a seamless transition and continuity of services. We want to assure the community that Head Start services will continue in our community.

In the next weeks, our agency, the Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc., will notify the families and the community regarding the next steps.  Again, we look forward to providing Head Start and Early Head Start services in the Guadalupe and Comal service area.
