Pathways to Excellence: CCSCT Attains Bronze Tier, Fostering Continuous Improvement and Exceeding Community Expectations

South Central, Texas: Community Council of South Central Texas is proud to announce its recent achievement in their pursuit of the National Partnership’s Award for Excellence program; the completion of the Bronze Tier requisite.  This significant milestone highlights CCSCT’s unwavering commitment to serving the community with utmost dedication and efficiency.

The Pathways to Excellence program is instrumental in guiding Community Action Agencies through a rigorous process of assessment, planning, and capacity building. By adopting best-in-class practices from the Community Action network, as outlined in the 35 Standards of Excellence, CCSCT has demonstrated its willingness to go above and beyond to meet and exceed community expectations.

“The Pathways to Excellence process, as set by the National Community Action Partnership, is an opportunity for Community Action Agencies to increase efficiency, effectiveness and to exceed expectations,” states CCSCT Executive Director, Bobby Deike, ”… the Bronze level designation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and partners in their pursuit of excellence.” The group will be recognized for their Bronze tier designation during the 2023 National Community Action Partnership Annual Conference banquet in Atlanta, Georgia late August.

In addition an, “Excellence Team,” was formed to complete the application and fulfillment of the Bronze Tier requirements which included: Executive Director, Bobby Deike; HR Director, Kari Bell; CFO, Brittany Hensley; Assistant CFO, Debra Martinez; CS Program Director, Carol Delgado; CS Assistant Program Director, Belinda Lacey; Communications and Marketing Manager, Daniela Flores; and Team Leader, Alma Adamez, Grant Writer.

CCSCT remains committed to continuous improvement and will continue striving to provide exceptional services to the communities they serve. The agency is determined to advance to higher tiers and further enhance its impact.
