So long, Glen! CCSCT Finance Controller Retires

Community Council of South Central Texas’ Board of Directors and Staff would like to congratulate and bid farewell to their esteemed colleague and friend, Glen Muenchow. Glen has diligently served the organization for four years, and has made an impact on the group’s success and spirit.

“Glen began work at CCSCT 4 years ago when the Agency needed leadership to stabilize it’s  financial operation…” comments Executive Director Bobby Deike,  “he accomplished this through maximising the talent of the Finance staff and implementing sound financial practices. I am so pleased to have worked with Glen and appreciate him being a part of our team.”

Upon retirement, Glen plans to relocate from Universal City with his wife Beverly, to a home they are building in New Berlin, Texas on a 40 acre farm that was passed down from his parents, Alfred and Malinda Muenchow. The tract is a remaining slice of heaven from an 80 acre farm that has been in his family since 1965. Glen will be busy rehabilitating some of the old buildings on this property and farming hay, while aspiring to raise some goats and chickens. Farmer Glen plans to visit his 3 sons and their families while enjoying more free time with his 5 grandchildren. Once they have settled into their new home, Beverly and Glen hope to make some trips down the Texas coast to continue spending time with friends and family.
Once again, Congratulations Glen on a job exceptionally well done!
