CCSCT Annual Report 2023: A Year of Empowerment and Impact in South Central Texas

South Central, TX – Community Council of South Central Texas is proud to present its highly anticipated 2023 annual report, highlighting a remarkable year of achievements. The comprehensive report showcases the agency’s unwavering commitment to empower individuals and build thriving communities.

Over the past year, our efforts have yielded outstanding results. We empowered 32 individuals towards self-sufficiency, improved 149 homes and multi-family units through weatherization, provided 6,511 utility assistance payments, aided 104 households with rental support, prevented homelessness for 157 Veterans, facilitated stable housing for 1,713 individuals at risk, enrolled 221 children in Head Start,  and rendered 31,920 in  WIC services. These achievements highlight our profound impact on countless lives, offering hope and enabling upward mobility for those overcoming economic challenges.

“The data, information, and photos within the 2023 Annual Report truly depict all of the services delivered to clients throughout the 31 county CCSCT service area,” stated Executive Director Bobby Deike, “I would like to express the deepest gratitude to our staff, Management Team, Board of Directors, and our Supporters for the fantastic work that was done in 2023.”
