CCSCT Awarded $25,000 Grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas

SEGUIN, TX: Community Council of South Central Texas (CCSCT) is proud to announce it has received a $25,000 grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for general operating support to cover essential administrative and infrastructure costs that enable CCSCT to deliver effective housing stability and homelessness prevention services.

Every day, CCSCT helps households facing financial hardship by connecting them with resources such as rental assistance, utility assistance, employment support, healthcare referrals, and other services designed to promote long-term stability and well-being. This grant will strengthen CCSCT’s ability to respond to housing crises and ensure that families receive the support they need when challenges arise.

“CCSCT is deeply grateful to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for this generous grant award…” stated Executive Director, Bobby Deike, “this funding will help offset rising administrative costs, allowing us to focus more resources on serving individuals and families throughout our communities.”

Since 1965, CCSCT has remained committed to empowering vulnerable families and individuals across 31 counties throughout South Central and West Texas by eliminating barriers and promoting self-sufficiency through innovative programs and strong community partnerships.
