CCSCT Marketing and Communications Manager Receives CCAP Designation

South Central, Texas: Daniela Flores, CCSCT Marketing and Communications Manager, received her designation as a Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP) in Manhattan, New York on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Daniela was one of 4 individuals in the state of Texas and one of 71 in the nation to receive her certification. The ceremony was held during the Community Action Partnership National Convention Awards Gala, in the heart of Times Square.

To accomplish the CCAP designation, individuals working in leadership positions in the field of Community Action must demonstrate mastery of Community Action Vision and Values, the History of Community Action, Management Skills, 21st Century Leadership and Addressing the Causes of Poverty. Daniela accomplished this by successfully demonstrating education, experience and training; developing and writing an Executive Skills Portfolio, and passing the CCAP written examination.

Daniela is a 2002 graduate of Eagle Pass High School, a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University, and holds an MBA from Sul Ross State University. Daniela has served CCSCT since February 2017.

With the new addition of Daniela, Community Council of South Central Texas now houses 6 CCAP recipients including, Executive Director, Bobby Deike; HR Director, Kari Bell; CS Program Director, Carol Delgado; Assistant Controller,  Debra Martinez; and CS Program and Compliance Manager, Belinda Lacey.
