TXU Energy and Community Council of South Central Texas Partner for Fan Distribution Event
Event will help families in need “Beat the Heat”
Seguin, Tex. — With summer heat putting additional strain on the most vulnerable Texans, TXU Energy is teaming up with Community Council of South Central Texas to provide relief.
On Thursday, August 1, volunteers will distribute 250 box fans to South Central Texas families, made possible by a $5,000 donation from TXU Energy.
The donation is part of TXU Energy’s signature Beat the Heat program. For more than 25 years, TXU Energy has helped thousands of Texans stay safe and cool in dangerous summer heat.
Fans will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required.
